When performance is measured, performance improves.

When performance is measured, performance improves.
It doesn't matter what it is, when performance is measured and reported back, the rate of improvement accelerates.
So don't set yourself another goal without understanding Pearson's Law.
Karl Pearson was an English mathematician and biostatistician, who is credited with establishing the discipline of mathematical statistics. He founded the world's first university statistics department at University College, London in 1911 and it's because of his work that we understand as much as we do about goal setting and its' most important aspect: the need to make all goals MEASURABLE – this has become known as “Pearson’s Law.”
It highlights that measuring and reporting is key to success and this goes for anything that you're setting out to achieve.
So when you set a goal, ask yourself:
📏 How can I MEASURE this ?
📝 How will I REPORT on this ?
☑️ So I can IMPROVE on it and meet my goal.
